Job description

Reporting to the Clinical Director, the incumbent will be responsible for the following key areas :

Information and Referral
Casework and Counselling
Outreach
Groupwork and Presentations

Requirements

Must possess at least a Masters degree in Counselling

Trained in CBT, DBT, PCT, SFBT, Narrative Therapy or equivalent

Preferably trained in some form of Trauma Therapy (eg. TF-CBT, EFT...etc)

Preferably trained or having experience with crisis management and suicide assessment

Able to work with young people struggling with mental health issues

Registered counsellor with SAC or equivalent

Core Competencies

Fluent in English, and conversant in a second language

Motivated and willing to learn

Has a strong desire and passion to reach out to young people who may be struggling
