POSITION OBJECTIVE
The Security Engineer is part of the Security Operations team and is responsible for working with the information security team and the local team on remediating current and emerging technology issues including security trends, vulnerabilities and threats intelligence. The role is also responsible for the physical security of our Vietnam office. The candidate should possess incident responder background, experience in investigations is beneficial. They will have strong IT skills, good knowledge on various security tool sets such as SIEM, firewall, EDR, IPS, CASB, DLP, email and network protection.
The candidate is a team player and will bring their know-how to help improve Hex Trust’s Cyber Security Maturity and help drive our risk and compliance frameworks. Ideally the candidate would also be exposed to some level of performing physical security risk assessments for the office and conducting annual security risk assessments for the office.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Incident response and investigation including ability to perform root cause analysis of incidents and remediated recommendations are provided in a timely manner.
- Strong IT background with sound level knowledge of multiple security appliances and tools (EDR,SIEM, vulnerability management, network security, SIEM, threat intelligence, etc.)
- Maintain enterprise and country specific Information Security policies and controls, based on industry standards and best practices.
- Experience managing and working in Cloud environment (AWS, GCP)
- Provide onboarding and annual security training
- Experience in working in container-centric environments
- Experience working with FinTech regulatory framework
- Manage site physical access control, including access control system (Card Access, Video Management), site compliance audits and maintain site incident management policy.
