Job descriptionExperience in geriatric care within homes and assisted living environments are preferred but not mandatory. Must be certified in CPR AED or willing to be trained. Knowledgeable on caregiver’s task or is willing to be trained with caregiver’s skills. Able to show patience and respect in dealing with sick, elderly or disabled clients. Able to train caregiver on basic caregiving skills Keen to work under close supervision and cooperate with the client’s family. A willingness to work flexible hours, which may include night shifts Proficient in Mandarin and dialect to communicate with Mandarin speaking clients. Medical Benefits Variable Bonus 44 working hours / week. Working hours : Shift rotational (including night shift) 14 days Annual Leave

Job Description
- Grooming, bathing, showering, diaper changing, bathroom functions, assisted exercise and oral feeding.
- Ensuring the Care recipient’s home is organized according to their needs and that safety measures are in place.
- Providing emotional support and encouragement to the caregiver.
- Mobility assistance may be required, for example helping the Care recipient in and out of bed, a chair, or a wheelchair. Turning and reposition the recipient in their bed as needed.
- Transporting or escorting the Care recipient to medical and other appointments.
- Completing accurate paperwork and submit on a timely basis.
- Instill fun, enjoyment, and positive energy during the therapy to ensure the therapy recipient stays engaged and motivated throughout the therapy sessions.
- Perform therapy and care support for the care recipient with instruction from the Therapy Supervisor.
- Facilitate activities according to the client's recommended and tailored Dementia Therapy program.
