The important role of our Senior Physiotherapist is to guide clients / families / caregivers to improve or restore physical functioning, alleviate pain and prevent physical dysfunction in clients.
Assess our clients who are with diverse needs, with the Geriatric Care Manager and Interprofessional team using best practice and evidence based principles
Set rehabilitation goals for treatment and delivery of individually designed treatment programmes to assist clients with physical difficulties resulting from illness, injury, disability or ageing to improve their movement
Ensure quality of service, client liaison and participate in outreach activities (such as conducting talks)
Monitor, evaluate and review physiotherapy treatment and interventions within the framework
Provide caregiver training to caregivers and family members.
Provide supervision to staff under the
Therapists’ care (such as therapist assistant and activity coordinator)
Working hours : 8.30am – 6pm
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy
Relevant Post Graduate qualification is desirable
Registered with Singapore Allied Health Professional Council
Relevant community and aged care experience would be desirable
Interest in geriatric and gerontology discipline
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Awareness of current professional, healthcare, and ageing issues
