Details of the Division and Team :
At the heart of Deutsche Bank’s client franchise is the Corporate Bank, a market leader in risk management for FX and Rates, cash management, lending, trade finance, trust and agency services as well as securities services.
Our Corporate Coverage team provides clients with full access to the expertise of the Corporate Bank’s product suite and as and when necessary full access to the expertise of the Investment Bank, including Corporate Finance advisory, DCM and ECM origination.
Within that we have established the strategic transactions group which is responsible for delivering tailored risk solutions to clients around their crossborder M&A and financing activities

Your key responsibilities :
Direct coverage of sponsors (private equity, infrastructure, real estate, credit & sovereign wealth) across AsiaUnderstand and address clients’ specific objectives and constraints : make use of the acquired knowledge to answer clients’ queries and offer solutions in accordance with the clients’ objectives and constraintsOriginate strategic risk management transactions with Asia sponsors across all asset classes including FX, rates, emerging markets and commoditiesLead complex transactions from start to finish, collaborating with legal on documentation, collaborating with trading on risk management, obtaining product approvals from stakeholders such as risk, product control etc and ultimately conclude the execution of these dealsNew product development together with internal stakeholders such as trading and structuringReview the applicable regulatory context for transactions, either on the client side or the internal DB side, for optimization of the solutions. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory bodies, as well as follow DB internal policies for internal review and approvals for transactions. Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.Identify and assess the various risks inherent to specific client transactions (market risks, credit risk, legal & compliance, operational risk).Cultivate relationships with all internal stakeholders to ensure smooth communication with clients and ensure we are delivering the full suite of solutionsYour skills and experience :
6-8 years of relevant experience in fixed income derivatives sales & structuringSuccessful candidates will have a strong markets technical background with experience in leading and closing fixed income derivative transactions.Practical knowledge of market regulations and documentationStrong communication skills with the ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders and clientsA strong growth mindset, with experience originating business and expanding an existing client baseThe ideal candidate will be both a problem solver who is able to use their knowledge to find constructive solutions and a client-facing person able to support coverage in direct engagementDemonstrate excellent soft skills including deal communications and strong team play.Role is required to be performed on-site at One Raffles Quay office. Relevant vaccination requirements may apply.
