Roles & Responsibilities
Purpose of the Role
The Divisional Planner will support the Divisional Head in driving operational excellence for the International Business Division. The role requires close collaboration with regional teams to enable strong performance management, digital transformation, business expansion into new segments / geographies, and long-range planning. The incumbent will play a pivotal role in shaping strategic initiatives and ensuring seamless execution across the division.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Long-Range Planning
- Lead monthly planning of volumes, market share, and profitability for the division.
- Drive the preparation, alignment, and sign-off of Long-Range Plans (LRP) within defined timelines, in coordination with Planning & Strategy teams.
- Support LRP efforts by developing frameworks and approaches across Sales, Marketing, Product, Assembly, and Network functions.
- Identify and evaluate key strategic levers for market entry into new geographies.
Emerging Opportunities & Growth
Facilitate and coordinate Emerging Opportunity Projects.Collaborate with internal project sponsors to develop and implement Go-To-Market strategies.Drive expansion efforts into new countries and customer segments.Operational Excellence & Performance Management
Develop, manage, and review divisional performance dashboards.Monitor business KPIs and provide actionable insights for decision-making.Oversee internal reviews and manage preparation of data / presentations for daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly cadence meetings.Track and follow up on action items and minutes of meetings to ensure progress.Transformation & Digitization
Lead digitization and Data & Analytics (D&A) initiatives across the division.Oversee key transformation projects (HR transformation, product launches, retail finance, analytics, and digital solutions).Drive adoption of new technologies to improve business efficiency and effectiveness.Key Deliverables
Timely delivery of LRP modules.Execution of identified emerging opportunity projects (e.g., e-commerce initiatives).Successful entry into new markets and geographies.High-quality performance dashboards for regional and divisional reviews.Completion and tracking of transformation, digitization, and analytics projects.Educational Qualifications
MBAPreferred : Additional qualifications or certifications in International Business.Experience Requirements
Minimum 15+ years of relevant experience in Planning, Strategy, and Operations within Consumer Durables, or Automotive sectors.Proven track record in international business planning and expansion projects.Strong background in long-range and operational planning.Skills & Competencies
