IAM Consultant
The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Consultant is responsible for designing and delivering Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) solutions for external clients. This role translates business and security requirements into scalable IAM architectures, leads integration efforts, and provides strategic guidance throughout the IAM lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Work with end users, business analysts, developers, architects, and team leads in developing IAM–IGA configurations based on requirements and solution design.
- Apply in-depth experience with IAM–IGA implementation standards and best practices for end-to-end integration with various target applications.
- Evaluate system architecture and make recommendations as required.
- Coordinate and collaborate with other project team members, including reporting to the project manager throughout implementation to meet project goals.
- Troubleshoot complex multi-tiered application architectures with disparate middleware technologies.
- Perform maintenance and support activities, including troubleshooting, incident response, and patching in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with vendors and support teams on problem resolution, implementation issues, and upgrades.
- Create and maintain documentation for design specifications, installations, upgrades, test cases, and operational maintenance.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or related field.Minimum of 5 years’ solid experience and in-depth knowledge in design, deployment, implementation, and administration of Identity Governance and Administration solutions, including installation, configuration, clustering, hardening, tuning, and troubleshooting, on products such as :
IBM Security Verify Governance
SailPoint (including IdentityIQ)
Saviynt
ForgeRock
CyberArk
3–5 years of experience in the IAM domain with hands-on expertise in developing, implementing, or architecting SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (IdentityNow) solutions.2–3 years of experience with technical architecture, including integrating identity management and access governance software.Strong experience in user lifecycle management, access management, and governance design and implementation.Familiarity with Joiner-Mover-Leaver (JML) processes, access rights provisioning, risk profiling, segregation of duties, and certification setup.Experience onboarding applications and integrating IGA solutions with various target systems using both out-of-the-box (OOTB) and custom connectors.Strong understanding of secure communications for web applications (e.g., PKI, SSL).Broad exposure to technologies such as server virtualization, databases, and networks, with an understanding of their interdependencies.Familiarity with HTTP, TCP / IP, load balancing, and firewalls.Good understanding of identity analytics.Familiarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow and Jira.Understanding of operating systems (Windows, Unix, Linux).Knowledge of OutSystems is advantageous but not mandatory.Ability to work independently on assignments, including communication with end users, project managers, developers, and architects for information gathering and implementation.Ability to deal with changing priorities, multi-task, perform under pressure, and work effectively as part of a team.Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.Knowledge in the following areas will be an advantage

Single Sign-On solutions such as IBM Security Verify Access, Okta, etc.
Privileged Access Management solutions such as CyberArk.
Development and customization skills, including :
