Coordinate site construction team activities and supervise field activities to ensure project completion on schedule and within budget.Assist in preparation of, review and provide construction inputs and technical evaluation of Subcontract Requisition / specification documentation.Maintain construction schedule, order materials and schedule inspections as necessary throughout the construction process.Prepare schedules and supervise the completion of the final punch list.Ensure job site safety, safe work practices and rectify job site hazards once identified.Coordinate with Client and Operations team on preparation & execution of Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning and Start-up activities for the plant.Site management for construction activities e.g. Civil & Structural, etc.Liaise with local authorities on permitting process and ensure all applicable inspections are completed during the construction phase.Prepare and report weekly, Monthly reports & forecast project progress.In charge of Claim management from Contractors.
Oversee demolition of existing plants and buildings if and when required.
Above 8 years of Construction Management experience in Civil Main Contractor Construction Projects.
- Degree in Construction Engineering / Construction Management or a related Engineering discipline.
- Professional certification in Construction Safety Course for Project Management (CSCPM) and WSQ safety training including AWSHPP / OPSOC, AWSHCS / CSOC, Work at Heights (WAH), SWCSO / SICMH, and BCSSC / SCWWSH.
- Excellent knowledge of local Construction industry codes and regulations.
- Strong practical knowledge of Permit to Work (PTW) arrangements for project personnel / contractors.
- Proven record of maintaining positive relationships with internal / external stakeholders including Clients, Operations team, Contractors, Suppliers, and other relevant parties.
- Strong communication and leadership skills with experience in managing multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.
