Our client is a renowned restaurant group from Hainan, China, known for delivering authentic Hainanese cuisine that blends tradition with modern tastes. As part of its Southeast Asia expansion, the brand has launched its global flagship outlet at VivoCity, Singapore . They are now hiring experienced professionals from Singapore’s Chinese restaurant sector, fluent in Mandarin, to help establish a high-performing local team and bring the true taste of Hainan to the region.

About the Role :

As our Purchasing Manager , you will oversee procurement and supply chain activities between Singapore and Malaysia, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of ingredients and supplies.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage vendor relationships and sourcing strategies across Singapore and Malaysia
• Coordinate procurement of food materials, kitchen equipment, and operational supplies
• Monitor stock levels and delivery schedules, ensuring optimal inventory turnover
• Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts with suppliers
• Ensure procurement practices comply with local import / export and food safety standards
• Collaborate with kitchen and operations teams to align supply with demand
