Job description

JOB SCOPE

Summary of Job Responsibilities

  • System Administrator who is responsible for the design, configuration, deployment, and post-deployment support of the Sands’ Global Maximo Application Suite-As-A-Service (MAAS).
  • Manage the global contract(s) and third-party (or supplier) relations for MAAS with appointed System Integrator team, IBM Maximo Team, and Sands’ stakeholders.
  • Responsible for the transition of Sands’ stakeholders from multiple legacy OnPrem Maximo Asset Management property-specific solutions to a standard global MAAS instance.
  • Lead business process, controls, and application standardization of Global MAAS to obtain various cloud benefits.
  • Manage the Global MAAS system to support asset management at various properties.
  • Build and manage a global team across multiple properties consisting of direct and indirect team members on the day-to-day support of the Global MAAS and deliver projects to enhance system utilization or resolve issues.

Job Responsibilities

  • Gather and document standard functional system requirements for Marina Bay Sands (MBS) and Sands China Limited (SCL) properties that allows the use of a Global MAAS.
  • Responsible for timely project status updates and / or need for escalation support with Sands’ Executive Management.
  • Lead the Phase I implementation of Global MAAS together with MBS team in Singapore as a pioneer by migrating from MBS’ legacy OnPrem Maximo.
  • Lead the Phase II migration of SCL in Macau from SCL’s legacy OnPrem to Global MAAS after MBS is implemented and stabilized.
  • Lead in scaling up Global MAAS to new property(ies) as the Sands’ Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) tool.
  • Manage the operational performance of Global MAAS to ensure trouble-free operations and timely resolution to ticket requests in compliance with service levels agreements.
  • Manage Global MAAS configurations to best meet project requirements or provide an acceptable business process as an exception.
  • Lead user or interface requirements gathering with property business owners and system integrators.
  • Work with direct or indirect subject matter experts in the activities associated with the identification, prioritization, and resolution of reported Global MAAS related problems.
  • Owner of the Transition Change Management (TCM) plan of migrating stakeholders to MAAS from legacy OnPrem Maximo solutions. TCM includes leadership alignment, stakeholder engagement, communication, training, change impact, readiness assessments, and organization design.
  • Explore and promote the advanced features available with Maximo Application Suite. Examples are Monitor and Predict modules for improved asset management performance.
  • Maintain and update the Global MAAS databases including but not limited to production, reporting and training.
  • Lead the merging of requirements documents, solution specifications, user acceptance test (UAT) plans, configuration documents and other project documentation into the Global MAAS platform.
  • Lead the Transition Change Management of stakeholders for Global MAAS.
  • Maintain up-to-date Global MAAS documentation and business process workflows.
  • Develop and produce reports.
  • Administer and monitor the number of users and pool of application points.
  • Willing to be permanently located in China, if necessary.
  • JOB REQUIREMENTS

    Education & Certification

  • Possesses a good degree in Engineering or equivalent.
  • Professional Qualification and Certification relating to Maximo Application Suite-As-A-Service (MAAS).
  • Solid Knowledge of CMMS workflows and Data Standards an advantage.
  • Experience

  • At least 5 years proven experience in project management with implementation of MAAS and its various system interfaces.
  • MAAS project implementation and configuration experience with certification.
  • Transition change management of stakeholders for MAAS deployment.
  • Experience in asset management an advantage.
  • Experience in building services an advantage.
  • Competencies

  • Possess good communication and interpersonal skills, with an eye for detail.
  • Experience in Maximo Application Suite version 8 and above.
  • Configuring and maintaining automated data feeds from and to external systems using Maximo Application Suite APIs.
  • Collaborate and act as Subject Matter Expert on Maximo Application Suite-As-A-Service (MAAS) application development, administration, and support using best practices.
  • Establish and deliver MAAS training modules from Train-the-Trainer through user-level.
  • Experience in Maximo automation scripts, configuration, administrator management and asset management related modules.
  • Ability to produce reports with BIRT, Cognos and Power BI.
  • Ability to operate in a global organization with operations in numerous countries with varying cultures.
  • Ability to manage teams (direct or indirect members) across countries and time zones.
  • Ability to travel internationally.
  • Possess the ‘drive’ and learner mindset.
  • Strong project management skill.
  • Proactive, with minimum supervision and independently, in a fast-paced environment with strict tight deadlines.
  • Possess good presentation skills.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken & writing.
  • Ability to communicate in Mandarin or Cantonese.
