Key
Responsibilities : Project
Management :
Plan, schedule, and supervise
carpentry projects (e.g., framing, cabinetry, trim work, structural
woodwork).
Monitor project progress, budgets, and resource
allocation to meet deadlines.
Coordinate with clients,
architects, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are
met.
Team
Leadership :
Lead and mentor carpenters and
laborers, assigning tasks and ensuring quality
workmanship.
Conduct on-site training for safety
protocols, tools, and techniques.
Resolve conflicts and
maintain a productive work environment.
Quality & Safety
Compliance :
Inspect materials, workmanship,
and finished products to ensure compliance with blueprints and
industry standards.
Enforce strict adherence to OSHA and
company safety policies.
Document and report incidents,
defects, or delays.
Administrative
Duties :
Review and interpret blueprints,
drawings, and project plans.
Maintain records of labor,
materials, equipment, and daily progress reports.
Assist
in estimating project costs and material procurement.
Client
Relations :
Act as the primary on-site
contact for clients, addressing concerns and providing
updates.
Ensure customer satisfaction through timely
communication and professional
service.
Qualifications
Skills :
Experience : 2+ years in
carpentry, with 2+ years in a supervisory role.
Technical Skills : Proficient
in reading blueprints, using carpentry tools, and understanding
building codes.
Soft
Skills : Strong leadership, problem-solving, and
communication skills.
Physical
Requirements : Ability to lift heavy materials, work
at heights, and stand for extended
periods.
Work
Environment :
exposure to weather, noise, and dust.
Travel
to project locations as required.
