Job Description
The ICT Executive will provide technical and operational support to the school's ICT department. The role involves managing ICT devices and systems, assisting users with technical issues, maintaining ICT inventories, and supporting school events and training sessions.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide device management (ICT devices, equipment, peripherals, and gadgets under the purview of the ICT department).
- Provide technical and applications support for users.
- Installation, testing and commissioning, maintenance, and repair of devices.
- Maintain tracking list (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Google Spreadsheet) to track the loan and return of devices.
- Manage ICT inventory in the school.
- Maintain and handle school shared ICT devices. Deliver and set up ICT devices / resources at the requested room / area.
- Assist and supervise ICT vendors during delivery of services or goods.
- Handle delivery and receipt of goods as and when required.
- Assist school leaders, management, and teachers for related ICT tasks.
- Process paperwork (e.g., Condemnation Form, Loan Form, ICT Request Form) and related ICT administrative tasks.
- Support and report to the HOD ICT, Subject Head ICT, and ICT Manager.
- Work in tandem with Desktop Engineers (DE) deployed in schools.
- Assist in audio, projector, and notebook setup during school programmes and events (e.g., Chinese New Year, Hari Raya, Grad Night, Education & Career Guidance, National Day, Teachers' Day, Children's Day, Founder's Day).
- Assist in audio and video production when necessary.
- Use video editing software or applications when necessary.
- Conduct ICT baseline skills (Microsoft and Google applications), ICT-related, and video-related training for students.
- Provide technical support during school hours for non-SSOE devices.
Preferred Skills and Experience :
Working knowledge in Microsoft Office applications.Working knowledge in Google Workspace.Experience in Audio-Visual (AV) setup and production.Experience in audio, video, and media production for school events.Experience using video editing software and applications.Experience in inventory tracking is preferred.Experience in conducting ICT baseline skills training (Microsoft and Google applications) for students in Primary School(s).Knowledge in troubleshooting and technical support of ICT devices.Good communication skills in English, both written and spoken.This position is open to all who are fulfilling aforesadi requirements.
