Roles & Responsibilities
Summary :
The Accounts Executive will manage the full set of accounts, including accounts receivable, and ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance. The role also includes ensuring efficient HR operations. The ideal candidate should have at least 4 years of experience with Xero Accounting software.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Management
- Manage the full set of accounts, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyse financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
- Maintain accurate and timely records for monthly, quarterly, and annual closing.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, filing requirements, and financial reporting standards.
- Handle fixed assets management and depreciation schedules.
- Develop and maintain effective internal financial controls.
- Adopt an efficient accounting software system for Accounts and HR
- Supervision of all financial accounting and taxation matters
- In charge of Financial and management reporting, cash flow, budgetary control, treasury matters
- Manage accounts and financial reporting of all related companies.
- Monitor group financial obligations to ensure that legal requirements are met.
- Forecast annual and quarterly budgeting to management
- Ensure internal control compliance with group financial and operational procedures and policies to safeguard company assets.
- Monitor and forecast cash flow management
- Monitor projects as directed by the President
Accounts Receivable (AR)
Oversee the accounts receivable process, including generating invoices, tracking payments, and reconciling AR accounts.Follow up with country partners and schools on overdue payments and manage payment discrepancies.Generate AR aging reports and provide insights to management.Work with country partners and schools and internal teams to resolve invoicing or payment-related issues promptly.System Proficiency
Leverage Xero Accounting software for bookkeeping, reporting, and financial management.Ensure smooth integration and operation of financial data within Xero.Provide recommendations for improving workflow efficiency using Xero and other tools.Collaboration & Reporting
Prepare financial and HR reports for senior management, providing actionable insights and recommendations.Collaborate with management to align financial and HR strategies with business goals.Support audits and liaise with external auditors and tax consultants.Training and Development
