Roles & Responsibilities

Requirements

• Use various methods and surveying instruments (e.g. total station, GPS, level, laser scanner) to measure land features such as distances, angles, and elevations.
• Define land boundaries and create surface and topographic maps.
• Collect data from field surveys and process it using software like AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS.
• Prepare detailed reports including legal descriptions, calculations, and survey data interpretations.
• Ensure all survey activities comply with legal regulations (e.g. zoning laws) and safety standards.
• Coordinate and communicate with Engineers, Architects, Project Managers, Contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Identify and help mitigate potential risks at the worksite.
• Able to manage survey work across multiple projects when needed.
