STRUCTURAL DESIGN ENGINEER
Job Description
- Design engineering structure according to technical requirements as defined by contract, class rules and specific standard within quality, time and cost given.
- Prepare and provide design calculation / BOM / general arrangement / sectional drawings.
- Produce accurate assembly / detail drawings within an agreed time scale.
- Ensure drawing list are updated.
- Ensure production drawings and documents are completed and issued on time.
- Update and understand know-how on rules, class, authorities and etc.
- Prepare 3rd party approval submission documents.
- Investigate scope of re-work / modification brought forward by the Production.
- Able to use STAADPro is a must to perform design calculation.
- Perform engineering coordination / drafting (drawings) / checking as and when required.
- Any other duties as assigned.
