DCS Engineer ( One Year Contract( - ALPEN ENGINEERING PTE. LTD.

Roles & Responsibilities

Looking for DCS Engineer with cloud architecture and VMware experience

(One Year Contract)

1. Validation & Monitoring

• Hands on experience to support virtualization platform such as VMWare vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter
• Monitor VM Health & Performance : Ensure that all VMs are running smoothly in the new Alternate hypervisor environment, including monitoring CPU, memory, disk usage, and network performance.
• Familiar with virtualization technology like vMotion, DRS, HA and VM snapshots

2.Familiar with Guest OS Redhat and Windows servers

3.Experience in supporting VM migration and firmware patching

Case Support : Log case with respective vendors and follow up actions including logs upload.

4.Experience in virtualization monitoring and troubleshooting

Resolve Migration Failures : Handle any errors or failures that may have occurred during the migration process.

5.Experience in incident / problem management and change management

Incident Management : Provide support for any critical incidents or disruptions, ensuring a rapid response and resolution.

7. Security and Compliance Management

Requirements :

1) Degree in Computer Engineering / Information Technology / Computer Science

2) 12 Years of Related Experience and knowledge in DC environments, with VM WARE knowledge, and network architecture.

3) Willing to work night hours, during project migrations etc.
