Roles & Responsibilities
Overview : Technology powers both our creativity and our operations. The IT Manager ensures our theatre’s digital infrastructure is robust, seamless, and secure. In addition to managing all venue IT systems, this role is the internal lead for cybersecurity, coordinating with external vendors providing CTO-as-a-Service to safeguard IMBA’s data, assets, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities :
IT Infrastructure & Venue Systems
- Oversee all IT infrastructure, networks, and AV / creative tech systems powering IMBA Theatre.
- Manage hardware / software procurement, deployment, and lifecycle.
- Ensure system uptime, reliability, and smooth vendor coordination.
Cybersecurity (via CTO-as-a-Service)
Act as the primary liaison between IMBA and contracted cybersecurity partners.Ensure vendors deliver on CTO-as-a-Service obligations (policies, monitoring, incident response).Coordinate penetration testing, audits, and risk assessments.Track compliance with data protection regulations and report on security posture to management.Operations & Support
Provide Tier 2 / 3 IT support to internal teams.Manage ticketing, escalation, and vendor SLA adherence.Train staff on digital security awareness and proper system use.Strategic & Growth
Scale IT operations with IMBA’s expansion and digital-first initiatives.Evaluate and introduce emerging tech to enhance both operational efficiency and guest experience.Partner with vendors to future-proof IMBA’s digital security strategy.Preferred Attributes :
Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related discipline.6–8 years of experience in IT management with demonstrated leadership in cybersecurity.Strong understanding of cybersecurity systems, tools, and vendors, with the ability to assess offerings critically and avoid vendor dependency or misrepresentation.Proven track record in vendor management and project delivery, ensuring accountability, quality, and cost-effectiveness.Ability to balance hands-on technical troubleshooting with strategic planning and oversight.Strong communication skills, able to explain complex IT / security concepts in simple, practical terms for non-technical stakeholders.A proactive mindset and passion for building secure, resilient, and scalable systems that support innovation and creativity.Tell employers what skills you have
