Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure Strategy & Leadership
- Lead the design, deployment, and lifecycle management of enterprise network, server, and storage infrastructure.
- Define and execute IT infrastructure roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
- Provide strategic leadership in hybrid cloud architecture and cloud migration strategies (Azure, GCP).
- Drive continuous improvement by evaluating emerging technologies and recommending innovative solutions.
Cloud & Virtualization
Manage hybrid cloud environments, ensuring seamless integration with on-premises systems.Oversee cloud service adoption, optimization, and cost management with providers such as Azure and GCP.Lead integration of Azure ExpressRoute and optimize resource utilization.Administer and support virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V) and data center operations.Networking & Security
Design, implement, and support LAN / WAN infrastructure, SD-WAN, VPNs, firewalls, and wireless solutions.Administer Cisco, HP Aruba, and network access control technologies.Ensure high availability, redundancy, and disaster recovery readiness for all network and infrastructure services.Oversee network security, access control policies, vulnerability management, and compliance frameworks.Operations & Vendor Management
Lead procurement and vendor management, ensuring effective SLAs and contract compliance.Manage infrastructure budgeting, forecasting, and ROI analysis in collaboration with finance teams.Monitor expenditures and identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining operational excellence.Project Management
Lead large-scale infrastructure projects including upgrades, migrations, and new deployments.Define project plans, timelines, and resource allocation across cross-functional teams.Ensure timely project delivery while adhering to quality and compliance standards.Compliance & Governance
Ensure infrastructure meets industry standards, audit requirements, and regulatory compliance.Collaborate with external and internal auditors to maintain infrastructure compliance for customers.Develop, implement, and maintain security protocols, risk assessments, and audit trails.Team & Stakeholder Management
Mentor, guide, and lead infrastructure teams to achieve high performance.Collaborate with stakeholders across business, IT, and external vendors to ensure alignment and delivery.Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in IT infrastructure, providing guidance to senior leadership.Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.18+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with proven leadership in enterprise-scale environments.Expertise in cloud technologies (Azure, GCP), hybrid cloud integration, and cloud cost optimization.Strong background in network architecture (LAN / WAN, SD-WAN, VPNs, firewalls, wireless) and Cisco / HP Aruba solutions.Hands-on experience with data center management, virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), and storage technologies.Solid knowledge of IT security, compliance, risk management, and disaster recovery planning.Proven experience in vendor management, procurement, budgeting, and financial planning.Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and project management skills.Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities with a track record of delivering complex infrastructure projects.Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, CCNP / CCIE, ITIL, VMware, PMP) are highly desirable.Tell employers what skills you have
