The
Role
The Perse School
(Singapore), is seeking for a School
Nurse to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate
will be responsible for providing healthcare services to students,
ensuring their physical and emotional well-being while at school.
The nurse plays a key role in managing and promoting health
education, addressing medical needs, and responding to health
emergencies.
Overall
Responsibilities :
Maintain and replenish medical supplies, including first
aid kits, according to standard requirements.
Ensure all medical equipment in the school wellness
centre is functioning properly.
Conduct
examinations of unwell students or staff members who require
immediate medical attention.
Administer care
according to established medical standards and
protocols.
Inform parents and school
administrators about students' conditions and updates on their
health status.
Coordinate the transfer of
students or staff to the nearest hospital's Emergency Ward,
following standard procedures, and ensure parents are notified to
meet at the hospital.
Maintain accurate
records of each medical case attended to.
Identify students who fall ill frequently or have
infectious diseases, and report findings to the school
administration for further
action.
Requirements :
Registered Nurse with the Singapore Nursing
Board.
Minimum of 3 years of experience
working as a registered nurse; pediatric or child health experience
preferred.
Experience working in an
international school is
preferred .
Bachelor's Degree in
Nursing.
