About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and experienced MSD-cleared Class 4 Driver to join our logistics operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods and materials across Singapore, ensuring compliance with all traffic, safety, and regulatory requirements. This role is crucial in supporting our daily logistics operations and ensuring timely deliveries to our clients and partners.
Key Responsibilities
1. Transportation & Delivery
- Safely operate Class 4 vehicles (14ft, 24ft trucks) to transport goods between designated locations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and handling of materials to prevent damage.
- Follow designated routes and delivery schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Ensure delivery documents are properly signed, collected, and submitted after each trip.
2. Compliance & Safety
Strictly adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.Maintain valid MSD clearance and comply with all port entry requirements and security protocols.Perform daily vehicle inspections (pre-trip and post-trip) and report any issues immediately.Ensure vehicle cleanliness and report any maintenance needs promptly.3. Communication & Coordination
Coordinate with dispatchers, warehouse teams, and customers regarding delivery schedules and instructions.Provide regular status updates on delivery progress and report any delays or incidents promptly.Handle goods and customer property with care and professionalism.4. Documentation & Records
Accurately complete trip logs, delivery records, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance checklists.Assist with basic paperwork related to deliveries, including PODs (Proof of Delivery) and manifests.Requirements
Valid Class 4 Singapore Driving LicenseMinimum 2 years of relevant driving experience in logistics, transportation, or delivery operationsStrong knowledge of Singapore road networks, traffic regulations, and safety practicesPhysically fit and able to handle loading / unloading tasksPunctual, reliable, and able to work independently with minimal supervisionBasic communication skills in English (spoken and written)Good attitude, team player, and strong sense of responsibilityPreferred Qualifications
Prior experience driving within port areas or handling container freightFamiliarity with GPS devices, route planning, and logistics documentationForklift license or warehouse experience (an advantage but not mandatory)Compensation & Benefits
