Roles & Responsibilities
Model Creation and Development :
- Developing and maintaining 3D models using BIM software like Bentley, Revit, Navisworks, or AutoCAD.
- Creating and updating architectural, structural, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) models.
- Ensuring models are accurate, detailed, and compliant with project requirements.
Coordination and Collaboration :
Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate their designs into the BIM model.Identifying and resolving clashes and inconsistencies within the model.Participating in BIM coordination meetings and discussions.Model Management and Maintenance :
Maintaining the BIM model throughout the project lifecycle, from initial design to construction and handover.Updating the model based on design changes and field conditions.Extracting data from the model for use in shop drawings, quantity takeoff, and other purposes.Drawing Production :
Preparing architectural and structural shop drawings and working drawings from the BIM model.Ensuring drawings are accurate and aligned with project requirements.Other Responsibilities :
Ensuring compliance with BIM standards and project requirements.Attending project meetings and communicating project information.Software and Technology Requirements
