Portfolio Analytics Analyst (Contract)

About the Client…

Our client, a leading alternative investment firm, is looking for a Portfolio Analytics Analyst as part of expansionary plans. This role sits at the intersection of data, risk and performance, offering hands-on exposure to a broad range of asset classes including private equity, private credit, and hedge funds. This is a 6 months contract role, with conversion potential.

The successful candidate will work closely with investment, operations, and reporting teams to analyze portfolio risk metrics, track performance drivers, and deliver insights that inform decision-making at the highest level.

About the Responsibilities…

• Assist in producing regular risk and performance reports (daily, monthly and quarterly).
• Analyze portfolio returns using attribution and factor models to identify alpha sources and risk exposures.
• Prepare and maintain dashboards, charts and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support portfolio reviews by maintaining accurate historical performance and benchmark data.
• Collaborate with investment teams to validate data and resolve discrepancies.
• Help develop automated reporting solutions and visual tools using Excel, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Ensure high standards of data accuracy across systems and analytics tools.
