What the role is

As a Senior Assistant Director / Deputy Director, Contracts in the Infrastructure and Facility Services Division, you will lead a dynamic team that provides contract and procurement support in the development of school campuses.

What you will be working on

• Conduct procurement of consultancy and construction services, develop guidelines and provide advice to the department in this area
• Review the costs for school development projects to ensure proposed budgets and expenditure for construction are value for money
• Develop effective and efficient processes to ensure proper contract administration by the department, including overseeing a team of contract managers to assess variation costs, verify work done on-site, evaluate progress claims and finalise accounts
• Engage schools, project teams, industry partners and other stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and understanding of contract and procurement policies and procedures

What we are looking for
