about the job

Looking for a Senior Software Test Engineer to be a vital part of an Agile Scrum team, focusing on the design, implementation, and testing of cloud software . You'll be instrumental in ensuring product quality by designing and developing comprehensive test plans and test cases , performing a range of testing (manual and automated, functional, regression, performance, stress) , and driving continuous improvements in testing practices. This is a hands-on role where you'll also be enhancing test automation frameworks , documenting / tracking bugs , and collaborating closely with developers and product owners.

skills and experience required

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering, or a related engineering field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in testing and supporting cloud software.
• Strong experience in software test development using programming / scripting languages (C#, Javascript, TypeScript preferred).
• Proven track record in architecting end-to-end automated test suites for API and web applications.
• Experience with test frameworks like Cypress, Playwright, or similar.
• Experience with CI / CD, Continuous Testing, and related tools (TeamCity, Jenkins, GitHub Actions a plus).
• Must have strong troubleshooting and debugging skills and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Bonus : Experience in biotech / bioinformatics or developing instrument software / hardware integration
