Roles & Responsibilities
A. Initial 6-Month Training Period (Bunker Cargo Officer Trainee)
Trainees will undergo on-the-job training led by experienced Bunker Cargo Officers and Cargo Superintendents, along with external certification courses for SS 648 : 2024 and SS 600 : 2014. The typical work cycle consists of three days onboard followed by three days of shore leave, subject to training needs and vessel schedules.
B. Months 7 to 18 (Junior Bunker Cargo Officer)
After successfully completing the training and obtaining the required certifications, the trainee will be promoted to Junior Bunker Cargo Officer. This role requires the individual to perform duties independently or with minimal supervision.
C. Post 2-Year Bond Completion (Bunker Cargo Officer)
Upon completing the 2-year bond, eligible candidates will be offered a permanent role as Bunker Cargo Officer.
