Roles & Responsibilities
An in-house photographer & videographer creates visual content, such as photos and videos, to support a company's marketing, communications, and brand needs, working with teams to align content with brand guidelines and business objectives. Responsibilities include capturing, editing, and organizing digital assets, operating cameras, lighting, and audio equipment, and staying current with visual trends for social media and other platforms. The role requires strong technical skills in photography and videography, proficiency in editing software, creativity, and effective collaboration with marketing and other departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation : Shoot and edit high-quality photos and videos for various purposes, including social media campaigns, events, product demonstrations, and corporate communications.
- Technical Operations : Operate cameras, lighting, audio equipment, and other necessary production gear during shoots.
- Post-Production : Edit and process images and videos using industry-standard software like Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop to achieve the desired visual results.
- Asset Management : Maintain and organise a database of digital assets (photos, videos, footage, music, etc.).
- Collaboration : Work closely with marketing, creative directors, and other internal teams to develop concepts and ensure visual content aligns with brand identity, objectives, and trends.
- Trend Awareness : Stay updated on the latest visual trends, marketing strategies, and platform changes to maximize content effectiveness.
- Conceptualisation : Contribute to brainstorming and developing creative ideas, potentially creating storyboards for video projects.
