Roles & Responsibilities
The Manager, Business Development & Partnership helps to spearhead new business development projects that will create economic value to the organization’s digital mobility lifestyle services. You will be coordinating and engaging with key internal stakeholders, as well as with external partners to explore, negotiate, implement, evaluate (proof of value) and scale our digital mobility capabilities to various international markets. You will be responsible for the business development roadmap and managing related partner relationship for the “International Travel” and “Lifestyle” categories of mobility service features on our platform.
Job Responsibilities :
- Able to think strategically and analytically about new business and product opportunities, and drives strategic direction of the business
- Assess and prioritize new strategic partnership opportunities, leveraging on both quantitative and qualitative analyses
- Build strong relationships with key partners to align with our go-to-market strategy for new digital mobility features, especially in new international markets
- Envision new ways of collaboration with partners that can bring about mutually beneficial business outcomes by applying creativity, business acumen and negotiation
- Work closely with the Product Development team to ensure successful enablement of new product capabilities (front and / or backend features) that deliver an enhanced user experience, in particular for the categories of “International Travel” and “Lifestyle”.
- Collaborate and transition new product capabilities that have been successfully implemented, to the relevant commercial or operation stakeholders.
- Identify and evaluate business growth opportunities through market research, trend analysis and strategic insights to support expansion initiatives.
- Leverage on data-driven methodologies and quantitative evidence to build and validate business cases that support expansion initiatives and revenue generation.
- Any ad hoc duties as assigned.
Job Requirements :
At Least Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing and / or related field of studyMinimum 5 years of relevant experience in business development, strategic partnerships and / or strategy consulting roles is preferredPrior experience in a business development / partnership role will be a plusTrack record of developing and executing partnerships across different industries and / or geographies, preferably related to digital platformsAble to operate effectively in different environments and industries, ideally including high growth technology areasPossesses an analytical mindset with the ability to develop and articulate new business concepts to different business ownersProven ability to forge relationships at senior executive levelExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence decision making and strategic thinkingPassion for technology and its impact on consumer lifestyle and mobility trendsExperienced in managing a team, coaching and developing team members is advantageousTell employers what skills you have
