Job Description
Context : Digital Transformation is at the Heart of L’Oréal group strategy. A number of initiatives have already been launched at the IT organization level touching various business and technological domains : e-commerce, eMarketing, CRM. Furthermore, the NA (North Asia) & SAPMENA (South Asia Pacific and Middle East North Africa) regions have markets that are at the forefront of the Digital and E-commerce revolutions and accelerations.
This position will be responsible for all aspects of Order Management System and its integration. This includes driving and managing projects, new developments, change management, partner management, partner integration, and L-3 Support. The role also ensures compliance and governance in all aspects of project management.
The individual will work closely with all teams (IT & Digital Teams, Key Business Users, Data & Analytics), the E-Commerce Platform Solution Provider, and Marketplaces Teams, to ensure the E-Commerce platform and fulfillment are running and delivering to their full capability as per agreement.
Key Job Accountabilities :
- Project Management : Own the project implementation with regional and country business owners across L’Oréal markets in NA & SAPMENA. Enable and drive E-Commerce projects. Work with all key stakeholders to ensure project compliance and delivery.
- IT Operations : Collaborate with the Run team to ensure the support model is strong and enhanced to meet business requirements for sustainable system operations and run. Ensure risk mitigation and controls are in place.
- Act as the IT liaison to lead communications with internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Perform business servicing by collecting and translating business needs in the E-Commerce / OMS (Order Management System) area into system requirements.
- Proactively explore opportunities to optimize processes and E-Commerce / OMS platforms, integration layers, and other bolt-on systems.
- Ability to understand and manage marketplace interactions. Exposure and experience with platforms like Lazada, Shopee and TikTokShop, Kakao, Naver, etc. is an added advantage.
- Understand technology platforms and integrations in detail, including platforms and systems used in L’Oréal, E-Commerce Partner, and Market Places.
- Work with SAP teams, digital teams, key users, and business leads to align and manage new developments, enhancements, and systems optimization.
- Identify technology risks and process risks. Propose communication and development of "best practice" solutions, and implement mitigating controls consistent with company strategy.
- Ensure compliance and SOP around High Availability and optimized system performance.
- Dedication to compliance as reflected in comprehensive policy, standard, and procedure development and implementation. Ensure compliance as per Internal Control guidelines. System Audits and Systems Compliance.
- Ensure a healthy balance between real-world risks and the business need for speed, agility, flexibility, and performance.
- Functional Documentation and Change Management to be well controlled. Ability to present data and relevant content (presentations) on respective subjects.
- Drive some O+O (Offline + Online) initiatives and use cases among retail & digital solutions for E-commerce.
Experience / Skills / Abilities Required :
3-5 years of experience working in an E-Commerce environment and exposure to E-Commerce platforms. Overall 6-10 years’ experience in Tech Operations / Supply Chain experience in Retail or Cosmetics industry with exposure to eCommerce.Proven experience in leading and driving projects, especially turnkey projects in D2C, B2B, and Supply Chain domains.Complete understanding and working knowledge of the Order to Cash (O2C) process, including stock reconciliations and stock valuations.Project Management Skills : Understanding and experience with Agile Project Management Methodology.Understanding of Stock Movement Types and its implications with respect to valuation and systems flows.IT and Project management certifications are an added advantage.Understanding of e-commerce & Marketplace platforms (any) & process flows : Shopee, Lazada, TikTokShop, etc.Education & Qualification :
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required. Master’s degree preferred.PMI Certification on Project Management an added advantage.Other Skills :
