We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Application Support Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who have prior experience in application support or Java development and are eager to grow in a dynamic support environment.

Roles & Responsibilities :

As an Application Support Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting mission-critical applications, ensuring stability, and maintaining operational excellence.

• Provide level 1 and 2 application support for Java / J2EE-based applications in production and UAT environments.
• Investigate, analyze, and resolve application issues to ensure system stability.
• Monitor and maintain batch jobs, web applications, and middleware components such as JBOSS, MariaDB, and Shell scripts.
• Perform root cause analysis of recurring incidents and implement preventive measures.
• Execute Unix commands and SQL queries to support application data and log analysis.
• Coordinate with developers, QA, infrastructure, and business teams to ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Manage job scheduling and support system integrations involving MQ setup and Connect : Direct (C : D) where applicable.
• Maintain clear documentation of issues, resolutions, and support procedures.
• Ensure adherence to defined SLAs with a strong focus on quality and ownership.
