Roles & Responsibilities
- Operating ROV during various underwater operations in accordance with approved company procedures and objectives
- Performing electrical, mechanical, hydraulic repair and maintenance of the ROV and various ancillary systems
- Assisting Senior ROV Pilot in directing marine operations e.g. lifting, launching and recovery of ROV
- Assisting Senior ROV Pilot in coordinating with various stakeholders during marine operations e.g. port authorities, customer vessels and bunker barges
- Preparation of reports and required documentation pre- and post-operations
- Brainstorming and performing upgrades of ROV system to improve operational and technical efficiency
- Performing other ad hoc duties as assigned by Technical or Country Manager
Requirements :
Strong technical knowledge in electrical and electronics engineering. Those with mechanical engineering background are also welcome to apply.Ability to critically evaluate problems and perform troubleshooting to improve the design and capabilities of the ROVPossess good 3-dimensional spatial awarenessPossess good knowledge of general marine and electrical safety processes, and a safety-first mindsetPrevious offshore ROV experience preferable but not necessaryPossess basic computer skillsMeticulous, task-orientated and continuously striving to achieve a high quality level of workPossess positive, hands-on and never-say-die attitude, and able to work as part of a cohesive team to achieve common goals and objectivesMentally and physically able and prepared to work on a vessel and shipyard environmentAble to work irregular shift hours (when required)Salary :
