Roles & Responsibilities
- Enforces food safety management policies and procedures in compliance with HACCP and SFA regulatory requirements.
- Conduct inspection as frequent as possible on manufacturing plant (Monthly), handling procedures, packing and other general areas to make sure it comply with food safety requirements.
- Conduct quality control analysis for all raw materials and products on a weekly basis. – Reference to SFA plant site audit
- Procure sample and send for analysis (e.g. microbial and nutrition) when needed.
- Liaise with suppliers in documentation compliance.
- Investigate any complaint issues in respect of quality and food safety.
- Maintaining of data base and documentations.
- Develop and conduct food safety training when needed.
- Check & ensure weight of manufactured of product within tolerance level. Eg. 420g + / - 20g, 3KG + / - 30g.
- Responsible for quality assurance (eg : Gluten-free testing, Non-GMO certification, SFA checklist & conformance, SFA certification for Export, Export requirement, product testing &moisture / PH testing)
- Monitoring cleaning schedules of vehicles.
- Handle Halal documentations
- Assist in any ad-hoc projects and duties as assigned.
