Roles & Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement quality assurance procedures to ensure food safety and compliance with industry standards like HACCP, GMP, ISO, and Halal.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of production processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Perform routine in-process checks to ensure products meet required quality standards before release.
- Carry out tests such as sensory evaluations, microbiological, and physical / chemical tests to verify product quality.
- Maintain accurate records of test results, non-conformance reports, and certificates of analysis. Compile and submit quality reports to senior management.
- Evaluate and monitor the quality of raw materials, and assist in supplier audits and addressing quality concerns.
- Investigate production deviations, identify root causes, and collaborate with production teams to implement corrective actions.
- Provide training to production staff on food safety practices and quality standards, promoting awareness across the organization.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and participate in internal / external audits to maintain certifications and quality systems.
Job Requirement :
Bachelor's Degree / Post Graduate Diploma / Professional Degree in Food Technology / Food Science or equivalent.2-3 years working experience in QAQC related field in food industry, preferably from food manufacturing.Relevant experience in GMP, HACCP, Halal and ISO 22000 will be an added advantage.Strong understanding of food safety regulations and quality control systems.Working Location : Woodlands
