As part of its ongoing transformation and regional integration efforts, the Singapore office is strengthening its leadership bench and is now looking to appoint a Finance Director to lead its finance and plant operations.
Job Description
Lead the full spectrum of financial operations including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow managementProvide financial insights and strategic recommendations to support business growth and cost optimisationPartner closely with commercial, operations, and supply chain teams to drive business performance and improve profitabilityAct as a key business partner to senior stakeholders, offering sound financial advice to support decision-makingCollaborate regularly with the global HQ finance and leadership teams to ensure alignment with group-wide financial policies, reporting standards, and strategic initiativesDrive monthly and quarterly reporting to global HQ, including variance analysis and business commentaryOversee statutory audits, tax matters, and compliance with local regulationsIdentify and implement process improvements, enhance internal controls, and support ERP optimisationSupport group-level finance consolidation and special projects as neededThe Successful Applicant
A degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline; professional certifications such as CPA or CA would be advantageousMinimum 10 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or regional capacityDemonstrated experience in financial management, with prior involvement in leading teams or finance functionsBackground in manufacturing or industrial sectors would be beneficialSolid understanding of cost accounting, inventory controls, and finance operations within a manufacturing contextProven ability to partner with operational stakeholders and contribute to commercial decision-makingExperience working in a matrix environment and collaborating with global teams is preferredProficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics)What's on Offer
