JOB DESCRIPTION

Participate in the financial and management accounting functions for a portfolio of entities and assets and ensure smooth and timely finance reporting for these entities.

Responsible for review / preparation of period-end closing (monthly, quarterly, annual), sub-group consolidation, variance analysis, cash flow management, planning, budgeting and forecasting and liaising with various business stakeholders (including internal and external auditors).

Analyse financial results and identify improvement opportunities in internal controls, processes, policies and procedures.

Ensure compliance with accounting, tax, statutory and regulatory requirements.

Support system implementation / improvements as necessary.

Support in ad hoc projects and other initiatives as assigned.

Other duties and responsibilities as may reasonably be requested by your immediate supervisor and / or the head of department from time to time.##

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Degree in Accountancy or its equivalent

At least 4 years of relevant experience

Good communication and organisation skills with a keen eye for details

Analytical, resourceful, good problem-solving capability and proactive team player

Strong financial literacy skills

Ability to meet tight deadlines in fast-paced work environment

Prior audit background and experience in REIT industry preferred

Experience with SAP / BPC and Yardi preferred##
