Job Purpose
The Lecturer will be responsible for delivering quality teaching and learning for the Diploma in Business programme. This role includes planning and conducting lessons, assessing student performance, and supporting academic excellence in line with institutional and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct lectures, tutorials, and workshops for assigned business modules.
- Apply effective teaching methods to engage students and enhance learning outcomes.
- Provide academic guidance and support to students to help them achieve course objectives.
- Prepare, administer, and grade assessments, assignments, and examinations.
- Ensure timely submission of assessment results and documentation.
- Participate in assessment moderation and maintain academic integrity and consistency.
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development activities.
- Provide academic counseling and mentorship where required.
- Address student feedback and queries in a professional and timely manner.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Finance, or related discipline (Master’s Degree preferred).Minimum of 5 years of relevant teaching or industry experience.Good communication and presentation skills with a genuine interest in teaching and mentoring students.Familiar with outcome-based education and adult learning approaches.Able to work effectively in a multicultural academic environment.Tell employers what skills you have
