Roles & Responsibilities

A Security Executive is responsible for overseeing security operations, including managing personnel, developing policies, incident response, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Security Operations Management :

Supervise Security Personnel : Oversee daily activities of security officers to ensure adherence to protocols.

Incident Response : Lead responses to security incidents and conduct investigations on breaches or hazards.

Schedule Management : Plan and coordinate the deployment of security officers for various operations and events.

Patrol Oversight : Ensure that regular patrols are conducted to deter illegal activities.

Policy Development and Enforcement :

Create Security Policies : Develop procedures for emergency responses and access controls.

Enforce Compliance : Regularly audit and ensure adherence to security policies among staff and visitors.

Policy Review : Continuously review and update policies in context with evolving security landscapes.

Risk Assessment and Security Planning :

Conduct risk assessments to evaluate vulnerabilities and develop comprehensive security plans.

Site Inspections : Conduct inspections to verify that security systems and protocols are functioning effectively.

Technology Management :

Manage Surveillance and Access Control Systems : Oversee the operation and maintenance of CCTV and alarm systems.

Integrate Security Technologies : Collaborate with IT to enhance the overall security infrastructure.

Incident and Emergency Management :

Lead Emergency Response : Coordinate actions during emergencies, including evacuations and security breaches.

Maintain Incident Records : Document all security responses thoroughly for accountability and future reference.

Communication and Liaison :

Internal Coordination : Serve as the primary point of contact for security-related matters within the organization.

Client Interaction : Ensure that security measures meet the needs of clients, making adjustments as necessary.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Experience : 2-5 years of experience in security roles, with some time in management. Familiarity with security technologies is advantageous.
• Leadership Skills : Ability to lead a team and coordinate security efforts across different departments.
• Strong Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written abilities to clearly convey information and instructions.
• Problem-Solving Skills : Ability to make quick decisions in high-stress situations.
• Relevant Certifications : Certifications in safety or security management can be beneficial.
• Transportation : Own transportation is required (Bike or Car).
