Responsibilities and Duties
Conduct weekly in-house meetings with production teams and site meetings with customers or consultants regarding project work-in-progress (including site measurements and reconcile against production drawing).
In charge and lead the existing fabrication cum welding team to perform and deliver all projects on time (hoist and crane structure, crane girder, site erection on runway, welding crane rail and crane girder on any other structural works).
Administrative functions in respect of contractual and technical matters.
Monitor progress of work and write project reports in English.
Ensure workplace and site safety.
Coordinating installation, testing and commissioning of lifting equipment at various stages of project.
Provide weekly and monthly progress reports and communicate the information to related party in sale department on time and effectively.
Control overtime schedule for erection / installation team.
Any other duties that may be assigned to you from time to time.
Requirements and Qualifications
Candidate with safety certifications preferred (Eg : WSH Level B, Work-At-Height course, Lifting Supervisor Safety course).
At least 5 years of working experience in related field is required for this position.
Fabrication & welding knowledge or project management skill is an advantage
Must possess a class 3 driving license. or own car provided, (if yes company will pay car allowance of $900 / - per month on top of monthly salary)
