In this position as a Marine Underwriter, you will be responsible for evaluating and underwriting marine risks within the reinsurance space. You will be expected to analyze the marine risks and its exposures for assessment of risk quality and insurance coverage including pricing of risks and the other related requirements. The ideal incumbent will be responsible for identifying and developing new sources of business and ensure compliance with company guidelines in the underwriting of Marine business.

The successful incumbent should be someone who is resourceful and has the ability to conduct research on the trends of reinsurance markets and participate in developing business strategies, strong ability to evaluate and steer portfolio in order to enhance results and to fit company’s risk appetite.
