Job Summary :
We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Manufacturing Supply Chain Supervisor to oversee warehouse operations and support our key retail clients in the beauty, cosmetics, and personal care sectors. This role combines logistics coordination, inventory management, and customer service while providing on-site support for procurement-related issues. You will ensure seamless product delivery, resolve client procurement challenges, and maintain optimal inventory levels, all while adhering to the unique demands of the cosmetics industry.
Key Responsibilities :
Inventory and Operation Management :
- Supervise daily operations to ensure efficient storage, picking, packing, and shipping of cosmetics and personal care products
- Manage inventory control processes, including stock levels, order fulfillment, product rotation (FIFO / FEFO), and preventing stockouts
- Coordinate with procurement and production teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of raw materials and packaging materials
- Conduct regular inventory audits, address discrepancies, and ensure products are stocked according to demand projections
- Maintain a safe and organized warehouse in compliance with health, safety, and GMP standards for cosmetic products
- Implement best practices to optimize warehouse layout, storage solutions, and workflow efficiency
Logistics & Client Coordination :
Act as the primary point of contact for retail clients, distributors, and logistics partners in the cosmetics and personal care sectorCoordinate with clients to ensure on-time delivery and fulfillment of orders, keeping clients informed about delivery schedules and shipping statusAssist clients with inventory management, ensuring appropriate stock levels are maintained to meet sales forecasts and minimize excess stockHandle high-priority shipments, manage custom orders, and resolve logistics issues to ensure client satisfactionCollaborate with the sales team to align warehouse operations with client needs, product launches, and promotional timelinesSupporting the sales team to meet the Sales Performance KPISupport on Client's Site – Procurement & Inventory Solutions :
Provide on-site support to retail clients and distributors for procurement-related issues, including resolving inventory shortages or delaysWork closely with clients to understand their procurement needs and streamline their ordering process, offering customized solutions to improve supply chain efficiencyAssist clients with understanding lead times, minimum order quantities (MOQ), and product availability to ensure they make timely purchasing decisionsHelp clients optimize their stock levels and manage re-ordering processes to avoid out-of-stock situations or overstockingOffer troubleshooting assistance for inventory challenges, including identifying bottlenecks, delays, or quality issues and resolving them promptlyAct as a liaison between the client and internal procurement and production teams to ensure smooth communication and problem resolutionEducate clients on best practices for managing inventory and coordinating future procurement ordersTeam Leadership & Supervision :
Lead, train, and supervise a team of warehouse staff, ensuring that operational goals are met and maintained consistentlyAllocate tasks and manage workflow to prioritize client orders, stock replenishment, and operational efficiencyEvaluate team performance, provide constructive feedback, and ensure continuous training on warehouse processes, safety standards, and handling cosmetic productsFoster a positive and collaborative team environment, emphasizing communication, efficiency, and safetyEnsure adherence to safety protocols, including the safe handling of cosmetic products, chemicals, and packaging materialsQuality Assurance & Continuous Improvement :
Monitor the quality of products throughout the receiving, storage, and shipping processes, ensuring compliance with cosmetic industry regulations and brand standardsWork closely with the QA team to identify, resolve, and document any product quality issues encountered during warehouse handling or client deliveriesImplement process improvements to streamline warehouse operations, enhance product delivery timelines, and reduce operational costsStay current on logistics trends, warehouse management innovations, and customer service best practices to continuously improve operational performanceRequirements :
Prior experience in a manufacturing environment with a mix of sales or customer service exposureProven supervisory or leadership experience is a mustStrong communication skills and the ability to manage client relationships professionallyOrganized, proactive, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environmentAble to work on Public Holidays, weekends and night-shifts (from 10pm – 10am)Tell employers what skills you have
