PowerBuilder Developer

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented PowerBuilder Developer to join our team and help design, develop, and maintain PowerBuilder applications that support our healthcare operations. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements, while developing, implementing, and enhancing features for healthcare applications. You will also be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of sensitive healthcare data, providing technical support and training to end-users, and staying updated with the latest trends in technology to continuously improve the performance and user experience of our applications.

• Design, develop, and maintain PowerBuilder applications to support healthcare operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements.
• Develop and implement new features and enhancements in existing applications.
• Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of PowerBuilder applications.
• Ensure the security and integrity of healthcare data within applications.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users.
• Participate in code reviews and adhere to best practices in software development.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve application performance and user experience.

Requirements

• Develops, designs, programs, analyzes, debugs, and modifies Software programs using PowerBuilder. Experienced in programming using PowerBuilder 12.1, 11.5, 10.5, 10, 9, 8, 7 with PowerBuilder Foundation Class Library PFC, and Visual/Non-Visual User Objects.
• Knowledgeable in C, Java, HTML and JavaScript
• Experience in database management and SQL.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Previous experience in system integration projects.
