Roles & Responsibilities
JOB SUMMARY :
Process Engineer are responsible for helping maximize the efficiency of the powder metallurgy production process (Sinter, Hot Press…) to manufacturing the sputtering target . They apply manufacturing, engineering, and technological principles to the development of new equipment, procedures, and processes.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES :
1. To be in charge of powder metallurgy process products line.
2. To work out hot press, sinter procedures and parameters.
3. To sustain powder metallurgy process stability and improve the in-process quality.
4. In charge of certain product and customer, continuously for product costing down and process optimization.
5. Cooperation with quality team and sale team to face customer for new products technical support and solve customer complain.
COMPETENCIES / JOB SPECIFICATIONS
1. Able to understand productivity and industrial knowledge of setting up the powder metallurgy production line
2. Fully trained with ISO standard, in charge of the SPC, Control plan, FMEA and APQP…for respond product. Knowledge of IATF Standards will be an added advantage.
3. Experience in basic hands-on troubleshooting of machineries will be an added advantage.
4. Understanding trace element, gas element, microstructures and other necessary physical characteristics of powder metallurgy target.
5. Building the DOE and Gantt chat for new R&D products.
6. Communication with China HQ for the necessary technical issue.
7. Necessary technical support for sale team with new products or NPI.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
1. Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree / Post Graduate Diploma / Professional Degree in Material Engineering or equivalent
2. At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
3. Preferably Executive specialized in Engineering - Industrial or equivalent
4. Experience : powder metallurgy of metals, alloys, etc.
5. Knowledge : Acquired information necessary to do the job - Metallurgy, melting, casting, materials processing.
