Responsibilities
- Advise and assist the Project Manager on EHS matters
- Lead the safety team in the implementation and monitoring of environment, health and safety plans / measures.
- Organize safety activities to raise safety awareness on site
- Actively conduct risk assessments at project sites and recommend measures to minimize and eliminate possible risks to any person
- Establish a strong safety culture within the company to collectively achieve the project safety, health targets
- Ensure all Statutory act & regulations, company safety rules & regulations and code of practice are implemented and complied by all employees
- To maintain and monitor achievement of safety & health working environment
- Implement OSH management system
- Manage Safety Audits on site
- Other adhoc duties as assigned
Requirement
Degree / Master in Engineering (HSE) or equivalentMinimum 5 years of relevant working experience as WSHOMOM Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO)Familiar with constructions site safety inspections and regulationsGood knowledge of ISO45001, ISO14001Possess effective organizational and follow-up skills, meticulousGood interpersonal skills and able to interface with all levels, internally and externally, in a professional and responsive mannerTell employers what skills you have
