Duties and

Responsibilities

Assist Staff

Nurse (SN) in delivering nursing care to the residents and

maintaining a safe and clean environment in the nursing

home.

Care

Delivery

Provide

quality nursing care with compliance to approved standards of

nursing practices.

Assist SN in new admission

assessment and orientation.

Carry out nursing

rounds with the SN.

Assist SN in ensuring

residents take their medicines.

Initiate

activities as first responder at emergency situations; alerts and

supports the SN.

Organize and send residents

for appropriate therapy as prescribed.

Coordinate residents' medical check-ups & arrange

transport.

Maintain accurate documentation of

care

given.

Supervisory

Duties

Supervise junior care

staff to :

Ensure comfort and good

personal hygiene of the residents under his / her care.

Check, monitor and record residents' vital

signs.

Assist in the transferring and

positioning of non-ambulant residents.

Assist

in serving diets and feeding

residents.

Other

Duty

Carry out any

other duties as assigned by the SN or Nurse

Manager.

Requirements

• Enrolled with Singapore Nursing Board
• ITE Certificate in Nursing

Diploma /

Degree in Nursing (foreign trained)
