Roles & Responsibilities

Element has an opportunity for an Engineer whose primary responsibility is to support the Lab Manager in running day to day laboratory affairs along with site and field testing.

The location is at Jalan Boon Lay, Singapore.

Job Duties :

• Ensure work compliance to ISO 17025 requirements
• Perform metallurgical, hardness and chemical testing
• Testing includes :

1. Cut, polish and prepare metallography samples and perform metallography of ferrous and non-ferrous

2. Microstructural characteristics

3. Materials properties evaluation

4. Assist in failure analysis

5. Perform metallographic examinations on various materials to be determine grain size, cleanliness, volume percentage of phases and general microstructure evaluation
