Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description

The duties and responsibilities of a Teacher shall include the following but not limited to :

• Plan, prepare and deliver lessons for up to 4 classes of Mathematics for either the JC1 or JC2 level.
• Work in teams on content development, assessment & standards, and remediation & enrichment.
• Tailor and apply pedagogy that may attend to different learnings of the students
• Evaluate and provide feedback on students’ performance via assignments and assessments
• Monitor students’ social development through counselling and working with parents
• Work with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. parents) to ensure meeting the pastoral and cognitive needs of the students
• In-charge of at least one co-curricular activity and / or committee
• Participate in departmental meetings, parents’ teacher meetings and any other school-wide training events
• Any other duties assigned by the School
