Job Responsibilities:

  • Supervise all architectural works to ensure compliance with design intent, specifications, and relevant codes.
  • Coordinate and integrate architectural works with civil, structural, and M&E works; escalate discrepancies to the Superintending Officer or Resident Architect.
  • Review and ensure timely submission of architectural materials, samples, and finishes for approval.
  • Monitor site conditions and highlight discrepancies between drawings and actual site situations before commencement of work.
  • Conduct periodic inspections to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to performance standards.
  • Coordinate with M&E supervisors to ensure proper placement of access and service openings, pipe routes, and cable trays/trunking.
  • Document and maintain all relevant site records, including inspection forms, test reports, and correspondence.
  • Support in reviewing method statements and material submissions.
  • Report incidents, non-compliance, and near misses to the Resident Architect or Qualified Person (Architectural).
  • Enforce compliance with site safety regulations and MOM requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Superior or Project Management team.

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma/Advanced Diploma/Degree in Architecture, Building, or a related discipline.
  • Valid Resident Technical Officer (RTO) accreditation with IES (Institution of Engineers Singapore).
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant architectural supervision experience, preferably in Singapore.
  • Strong knowledge of architectural detailing, building materials, local building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Familiar with project documentation such as method statements, shop drawings, as-built drawings, and inspection protocols.
  • Good communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Experience in LTA or MRT projects is an added advantage.
