Management Trainee (Logistics)*IMMEDIATE

Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Management Trainee to join our Air & Ocean Freight Operations team. This role offers hands-on exposure to the full spectrum of freight forwarding operations, providing structured learning and career development opportunities within the logistics industry.

As a Management Trainee, you will undergo practical training in import and export operations, shipment coordination, and customer service management, with the goal of developing into a future operations leader within the organization.

Job Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience in end-to-end air and sea freight operations
• Handle drop, import and export shipment processing and coordination
• Communicate and coordinate with customers, overseas agents, carriers/airlines, NVOCCs, and co-loaders
• Arrange shipment bookings, customs clearance, and delivery schedules
• Monitor shipment status and ensure timely updates to customers
• Liaise with service providers for transportation and local handling services
• Process import/export permits and customs documentation
• Manage shipments through EDI systems
• Prepare shipment documentation, operational reports, and invoices
• Support customers adhoc request for inspection of goods etc.,
• Support problem resolution, service recovery, and insurance claims handling
• Supervise and support the Customer Service Operations team

Job Requirements

• Diploma holder
• Welcome entry level - Training will be provided
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive attitude, willing to learn
• Work location at Ubi, Oxley Bizhub
• Salary $2600 - $3400
