Prepare, cook and serve a variety of Chinese dishes, including stir-fry, soups, meats and seafood, according to company standards.
Assist in daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, plating and portion control.
Maintain cleanliness, hygiene and food safety standards in compliance with NEA requirements.
Ensure proper handling, storage and rotation of food ingredients.
Assist in stock ordering, receiving and storing supplies.
Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure smooth operations and timely service.
Follow company SOPs and adhere to workplace safety regulations.
Requirements
At least 2 years of experience in Chinese cuisine (zichar, hawker stall or restaurant environment).
Must possess a valid Food Hygiene Certificate.
Ability to read and speak simple English and Chinese to communicate effectively with foreign colleagues and handle stock ordering.
Must not have food allergies (due to handling of seafood, spices and other ingredients).
Willing to work 6 days per week, including weekends and public holidays as required by operations.
Positive attitude, team player and willingness to learn.
