EHS Executive (Chemical Plant) - West - WCDT

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing EHS administrative processes to ensure compliance with WSH regulations and legal requirements.
• Support EHS systems in line with ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and customer requirements, including participation in internal and external audits and follow-up on corrective actions.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities, external auditors, and agencies on EHS-related matters.
• Prepare documentation for approvals, licence applications and renewals, and other internal EHS records.
• Support subcontractor safety management, including permit-to-work processes.
• Assist in organising and conducting safety briefings, training, and emergency drills.
• Provide administrative support for departmental tasks related to company maintenance activities.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field, with at least 2 years of EHS experience.
• Good knowledge of EHS requirements, including ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
• WSH Coordinator certification or Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health is an advantage.
• Familiar with risk assessment processes.
• Good spoken and written English communication skills.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
