RESIDENT TECHNICAL OFFICER

Roles & Responsibilities

Location: Thomson
Duration: Approximately 50 Months

Responsibilities

• Carry out supervision for the project execution including progress control, quality control, variation/ cost control, safety control, environmental control etc.
• Report any critical and/ or major issues to SOR/Assistant to SOR proposing possible solutions.
• Liaise and coordinate with Consultants to resolve technical and/ or interfacing issues.
• Monitor and properly record inspection of different architectural trades.
• Keep and maintain proper, detailed, and updated site records on progress of work.
• Assist Consultants/Clients in the supervision and quality assurance of construction works on site.
• Conduct in progress inspections to ensure that work carried out complies with quality, standards, and requirements.
• Ensure that all installation methods and materials used are in accordance with contract specifications and drawings.
• Liaise with contractors/sub-contractors in the coordination of site works.
• Highlight discrepancies, feedback site progress and irregularities to consultants.
• Ensure the contractors maintain work safety, cleanliness, and tidiness of the site.

REQUIREMENTS

• Possess at leastNational Certificate in Construction Supervision (NCSS).
• Must beregistered with IES as a Resident Technical Officer.
• At least 3 years of relevant site experience as a Resident Technical Officer with extensive architectural works for HDB projects.
• Fully conversant with statutory regulations and codes for site supervision, quality control procedures construction administration of progress reports.
• Preferable with prior experience in HDB projects.
• Self-motivated, proactive and team player.
